The Evergreen State College has announced two recent staff changes in Recreation and Athletics.
Adam Fenster has stepped down after seven season as women's soccer head coach, and
Nick Dawson has been named sports information director.
Fenster, an Evergreen graduate and two-time All-PNWAC second team selection as a Geoducks men's soccer player, compiled a 20-74-7 record at the helm of the women's soccer program. A Bothell resident, Fenster is stepping down in order to devote more time to his family.
"I want to thank everyone, especially all of the players present and past, for this amazing journey," Fenster said. "I feel blessed to have coached at my alma mater and wish all the best for them in the future."
"We thank Adam for his hard work and dedication to the program and to Evergreen," said
Monica Heuer, assistant director of Recreation and Athletics. "We wish him the best in his future endeavors."

Dawson has served as Evergreen's interim sports information director over two different stints totaling 28 months, including his second appointment to the position starting in August 2016. He has worked in collegiate sports information field for approximately 25 years.
"We are happy to keep Nick on the staff here at Evergreen as we wrap up this athletic season and move into the next," Heuer said.
