PORTLAND, Ore. – The Evergreen State College men's basketball team opened the season 2-0 after defeating Northwest Indian College 83-52 on Saturday to close out the Rose City Classic.
Evergreen was led by Lukas Kelly and LaBrandon Price, who both recorded 16 points. Gloire Biongo added 15 points and Elijah Fuller had 14 points. Desmond Hudson led on defense with 10 rebounds.
Northwest Indian College was led by Everette Howe, who had 14 points and Steven Sotomish had seven points.
The Geoducks will play on Exhibition game on Tuesday, Nov. 5 against Idaho and will have their home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. against Linfield.
