Walla Walla scored the first points of the game and never looked back to defeat The Evergreen State College men's basketball team 82-70 Friday afternoon in Olympia.
Evergreen was led by Gloire Biongo, who had 15 points and LaBrandon Price and Elijah Fuller both recorded 14 points. Mana Niu, playing in his first game of the season, led on the rebounds with seven and had eight points.
The Wolves were led by KiAndre Gaddy, who had a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. Zayne Browning recorded 21 points, Dylan Browning had 12 points and Javier Simpkins recorded 10 points.
WWU shot 53.8 percent from the floor to Evergreen's 44.3 percent. The Wolves recorded 27 turnovers and Evergreen had 16 steals.
Evergreen is back in action at home tomorrow against Walla Walla at 8:30 p.m.
