The Evergreen State College men's basketball team fell to fifth-ranked Oregon Tech 95-67 Saturday at the Danny Miles Court in Oregon.
Evergreen was led by Elijah Fuller, who had 14 points, Gloire Biongo added 13 points and Mana Niu had 12 points. Lane Kennedy, Desmond Hudson and Fuller all led on the rebounds with four.
Oregon Tech was led by Mitchell Fink, who had 29 points, Garret Albrecht had 18 points, Lachlan McKimm had 11 points and Jordan Henderson added 10 points. Albrecht led on the rebounds with nine.
The Owls shot 63 percent from the floor to Evergreen's 43.8 percent. The Geoducks had the lead early in the first half, but OIT came back and took the lead and had its largest lead of 28 in the second half. The Owls out rebounded Evergreen 44-23 and the Geoducks recorded seven steals on the 15 turnovers by OIT.
Evergreen is back in action at home on Friday against Warner Pacific and face Multnomah on Saturday for Senior Day. Both games will start at 7:30 p.m.
