After coming back in the second half and forcing overtime, The Evergreen State College men's basketball team fell to Eastern Oregon 97-89 in double overtime.
Evergreen was led by LaBrandon Price and Gloire Biongo, who both had 18 points, Desmond Hudson had 17 points, Danny Nelson added 11 points and Mana Niu recorded 10 points. Hudson and Price both led on the boards with seen.
EOU was led by Jarek Schetzie, who had 30 points, Landon Jones added 21 points, Max McCullough recorded 17 points and Jamal Heckard added 12 points. Schetzle led on the rebounds with 13 for a double-double.
The Geoducks shot 49.3 percent from the floor to the Mountaineers 54.9 percent. Evergreen had its largest lead of eight in the second half. The Geoducks recorded 37 bench points and had 11 steals. EOU scored 52 points in the paint.
Evergreen is back in action on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. against Northwest to close out the 2019-20 season.
