OLYMPIA, Wash. – Visiting Oregon Tech started the game on a 13-2 run en route to a 68-47 win over host Evergreen State at the Costantino Recreation Center on Sunday afternoon.
The Owls (10-4, 3-4 CCC) saw 10 players breaking into the scoring column with a team-high 12 points from Maddyson Tull, who was 6-for-11 from the field. A pair of OIT players - Shelby Blodgett and Abby Kreiser – nearly had double doubles. Blodgett added eight points and 10 rebounds and Kresider had nine points and seven assists in the win.

The Geoducks (4-7, 2-5 CCC), who were limited to just six players, were paced by a game-high 26-point effort from
Sha'nece Garret.
Caitlin Yenne added four points, six rebounds and five assists in the loss for Evergreen. Plus, Lily Stewart had eight rebounds and four points in just her second game of the season.
Despite the early deficit, there was a lot of fight in the Geoducks as they managed to get the margin to as little as seven on a pair of occasions in the first half.
Next, Evergreen will travel to Oregon to face Bushnell on Friday, Jan.7 at 5:30 p.m. and Corban on Saturday, Jan. 8 at 3 p.m.
