Olympia, Wash - Evergreen outscored Walla Walla 82-74 to win their conference opener at home. Jayden Upshaw put up 19 points to lead the Geoduck offense, Tyler Williford contributed another 17 points and 7 rebounds for the cause, while teammate Deondre Russ added another 14 points to the scoreboard and went 7-7 from the free-throw line.
Evergreen did not shoot particularly well in the first half, shooting only 23.1% from beyond the arch and 34.6% overall. They managed to go into the half up by two points. They came out shooting in the second half and managed to pull away from Walla Walla with a series of three-pointers by Lauren O'Neil, Mikey Hernandez and Jayden Upshaw. For the second half, the Geoducks had a 3-Pt FG% of 64.3%, and a Total FG% of 64%.
