Olympia, Wash. - Northwest defeated Evergreen 82-66. The Geoducks kept the game close in the first half, but a pair of 3 pointers made by Northwest's Drew Bryson gave the Eagles room to pull away. Bryson finished the game with 19-points to lead the Eagles.
Evergreen was led by Jayden Upshaw who had 19-points, and Tyler Williford who had 16-points and 11 rebounds. Lane Kennedy had an additional 10 points, and four steals for the game.
"I was proud of our guys in the first half for a great defensive effort." said Head Men's Coach Franklin Johnson. "We talk about consistency as a team, and we are working on maintaining consistency through the full game. We are excited to keep improving until we see games go our way."
