Alan Barragan and
Dakota Seddon led the offense and the Geoducks defense collectively smothered the Wolves in the 3-1 victory.
The Geoducks (5-5-2, 4-2-2) defense continued their impressive showing, as they limited Walla Walla to just four shots the entire match. The Evergreen defense has held their opponents to just two over the past three conference matches.
After the opening whistle, the Wolves (0-9-0, 0-8-0) struck like lightning with a goal in the second minute of the match.
Andreas Malunat scored the equalizer for the Geoducks with a goal in the 19
th minute of the match. Malunat then assisted
Alan Barragan in the 26
th minute to give Evergreen the lead. The Geoducks went into the halftime break with a 2-1 lead.
After the break,
Dakota Seddon gave Evergreen an insurance goal with his score in the 53
rd minute. The score held up here and the Geoduck won the match 3-1.
This win moved the Geoducks into a three-way tie for fifth place in conference with Warner Pacific and Providence.
