OLYMPIA, Wash. – It was Senior Day for Evergreen and the stage was set for a pivotal showdown between two teams fighting for postseason seeding. The Geoducks defeated Providence 2-1 to push their unbeaten streak to six matches.
Dakota Seddon made the most of his senior day with the game-winning assist in the 34
th minute of the match.

Jesus Flores,
Andreas Malunat and
Matthew Jordan were honored before the match and enjoyed the moment with their family and friends before preparing for one of the most important matches of the season and their final match on the pitch.
Adrian Fong sent the pitch into a frenzy when he scored the opening goal of the match in the 11
th minute.
The Geoducks weren't content with just one, and a well-placed cross from Seddon found the foot of
Alan Barragan who sent it to the back of the net to give Evergreen a two-goal lead in the 34
th minute of play.
Evergreen went into the half fired up with a 2-0 lead and all the momentum.
Halftime adjustments were made and the Argos cut into the deficit in the opening minutes of the second half with a goal from Jose Vasquez in the 51
st minute.
The match took a different tone as Providence was back within striking distance and hungry to score the equalizer. UP had their opportunities but
Brendan Gribek and the Geoduck defense held strong to thwart the late comeback on their way to a 2-1 win.
Evergreen travels to Southern Oregon to take on the Raiders on October 29
