FOREST GROVE, Ore. - Evergreen concluded their Oregon trip with a matchup against the Pacific University Boxers. Pacific ran away with the game in the second half and defeated the Geoducks 84-60.
Despite their poor shooting in the first half, Evergreen's defense prevailed and they went into the half tied 32-32. The second half is where the Geoduck's shooting woes cost them as they shot 33% from the field and struggled to get shot attempts with only 21 shot attempts in the second half.
Jayden Upshaw (12) and
Deondre Russ (10) were the only double-digit scorers for Evergreen.
Second chance points were the deciding factor in the contest as the Boxers had 17 offensive rebounds that resulted in 22 second chance points.
