Box Score COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. - The Evergreen State College Women's Basketball team delivered a thrilling performance in their matchup against Walla Walla University, securing a hard-fought victory in overtime with a final score of 80-76.
 
The intensity was palpable from the opening tip-off, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination on the court. The Geoducks faced a formidable opponent in Walla Walla University's Wolves, but they rose to the challenge with tenacity and teamwork.
 
The first quarter saw Evergreen trailing WWU by 6 points, and by the end of the half were still behind the Wolves 25 – 33. As the second half unfolded, the Geoducks turned their luck around, scoring 20 points in the 3^rd period, 19 in the fourth period, pushing both teams into overtime where Evergreen sealed their victory with a final 16 points.
 
In a standout individual performance, Jalyn Sackrider emerged scoring double digits for Evergreen, making an impressive 12 out of her 17 field goal attempts. Sackrider's success played a crucial role in propelling the team forward and securing the hard-earned victory.
