Although the Geoducks showed improvement compared to their previous game, the Owls' dominance ultimately secured the victory.

Our Men's Basketball team was determined to bounce back from recent setbacks. The Geoducks displayed a commendable effort on the court, showcasing improvement in various facets of their game, scoring 31 points each half. Throughout the matchup, the players within the Evergreen roster demonstrated resilience and skill, contributing to the team's overall performance. Despite the final score, the Geoducks' commitment to improvement was apparent, and their efforts did not go unnoticed by our fans and spectators.

The Oregon Tech Owls, however, proved to be an intense adversary, maintaining control of the game and securing a decisive victory, outscoring our Geoducks each half. They built momentum very quickly, developing a lead they held for the duration of the game. The score of 62 - 91 reflects a more competitive showing from Evergreen, indicating positive strides in their gameplay. The team's ability to learn and adapt, even in the face of a strong opponent, speaks to their resilience and commitment to growth.

The loss comes at a sensitive time for the college, as the campus community mourns the death of computer science student, Jonathan Rodriguez. The game began with a moment of silence honoring his life. As the Men's Basketball team reflects on this intense matchup, they will undoubtedly focus on the positive aspects of their performance while identifying areas for continued improvement. Each game is an opportunity for learning and development, and the Geoducks, under the leadership of new Head Coach Cam Swanson, are poised to build on the lessons gained from this contest. Even in the midst of the dark winter hours, the future could still be bright for our Geoducks.
