KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - In a closely contested postseason battle, the Evergreen State College Women's Basketball team displayed resilience and determination but ultimately fell short against Oregon Tech, concluding the game with a final score of
50 - 59. Despite the loss, the Geoducks showcased strong performances, particularly from
Sydney Vanness, in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
The first quarter saw Evergreen facing a 5 - 12 deficit as they navigated the initial challenges posed by the Owls. The Geoducks responded impressively in the second quarter, outscoring Oregon Tech 18 - 13, narrowing the gap and showcasing their offensive prowess. As the game progressed to the third quarter, Evergreen battled hard, accumulating 15 points. However, Oregon Tech managed to secure a 20-point quarter, creating a challenging situation for the Geoducks.
