Cameron Bolt

Cameron Bolt enters his first year as an assistant track & field coach for the Geoducks. Bolt will coach the Evergreen men's and women’s athletes in the high jump, triple jump, and long jump. He also will serve as the primary coach for the combined events.

Prior to joining the Geoduck staff, Bolt coached athletes at Lake Washington High School, the Northern Arizona University Track Club, and the Bolt Track and Field Club. He has seen a plethora of success, coaching national champions in the 100 hurdles and triple jump, and state champions in the 100 meters, 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, 4 x 400-meter relay, triple jump, and heptathlon.

Bolt arrives at Evergreen with a prestigious background in coaching education, holding a USA Track & Field Level 3, IAAF Level V Certification in Sprints/Hurdles/Relays (world’s highest certificate in athletics) and USATF Level 2 Certifications in Jumps, Sprints/Hurdles/Relays and Youth Specialization. He was accepted into the USATF Emerging Elite Coaches Camp, held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, for jumps and combined events, in a camp that only accepts a dozen applications yearly.

The native of North Bend, Washington, Bolt graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor of science degree in Biomedical Science. He minored in Chemistry and qualified for the Dean's List.
