ELLENSBURG - Central Washington shot 54.5 percent from the field and knocked down 13 three-point shots in beating Evergreen, 111-65, in a men's basketball exhibition game played Wednesday night inside Nicholson Pavilion.
The Wildcats, who led 55-34 at the half, put six players in double figures, led by Jeryn Lucas with 16.
Elijah Fuller hit a trio of three-pointers on the way to 11 points and
Dalton Groenewold scored 10 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds to lead the Geoducks, who shot 38.5 percent overall. Evergreen did win the rebound battle, 39-37.
Next up for Evergreen is the Cascade Collegiate Conference opener, that slated for Friday, Nov. 30, against the visiting Warner Pacific University Knights.
