The intent of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee is to provide an opportunity for student athletes to play a role in informing policy and communicating team issues, while representing The Evergreen State College and their respective teams.Â

What functions does SAAC serve?
- Discuss and provide feedback on issues affecting student-athlete welfare
- Assist in educating student athletes about relevant issues on campus
- Increase and improve student athletes’ understanding of any policies or procedures
- Promote student athlete participation and leadership in campus-wide and community events or service projects
- Provide a forum for addressing student athlete concerns

The Evergreen State College SAAC members:
Lexi Sanchez, volleyball, is the Evergreen SAAC chair and also serves as the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) SAAC Chair during the 19-20 academic year. Tasha Hungate, women's volleyball, serves as a CCC SAAC co-chair.
