SALEM, Ore. - Corban won for the ninth time in its past 10 games on Friday night, defeating the Evergreen Geoducks by a 79-45 score in Cascade Collegiate Conference women's basketball action inside the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center.
Angela Sikora scored 16 points and
Deidra Miller added 14 for the Geoducks (0-16 overall, 0-12 CCC), who shot 34 percent from the floor. Sikora, one of the national leaders with nearly three made three-pointers per game, was 4-for-12 from long range in this contest.
Heidi Mueller came off the bench to lead the Warriors (15-7, 9-3) with 15 points, and Jordan Raspberry notched a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Corban, which is ranked No. 22 in this week's NAIA Division II Top 25 national poll, dominated the rebounding department 48-29 and shot 44 percent compared to 34 percent for the Geoducks.
Evergreen goes after its first win tomorrow night when it plays Northwest Christian in Eugene.
