Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Eastern Oregon Defeats Women’s Soccer 3-0

LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Evergreen State College women's soccer team fell 3-0 to Eastern Oregon on Saturday.

Colbi Stewart was back in the net for Evergreen and recorded five saves.

The Geoducks recorded seven shots for the match with five on goal. Maddie Lockwood recorded two shots on goal and Sara Peterson, Madison Early and Mikayla Kee all had shots on goal.

The Mountaineers got on the scoreboard at 19:15 by Mackinley Gregus with the assist from Nan Kiebert and took the 1-0 lead into the half.

In the second half, EOU scored two goals in eight minutes. The first at 49:57 by Anna Hager and again at 57:19 by Erika Skindlov with the assist from Morgan Farrington.

The Mountaineers recorded 20 shots for the game with eight on goal. Cydni Cottrell was back in the net for EOU for over 66 minutes and recorded four saves. Savannah Hutchinson came in for 23 minutes and had one save.

Evergreen is back in action to close out the regular season at home on Friday and Saturday. Evergreen will play at Black Hills High School and face Southern Oregon at 1 p.m. on Friday and Oregon Tech at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
