LeA GRANDE, Ore. - The Evergreen State College men's soccer team scored two goals in the second half but fell 3-2 to Eastern Oregon.
The Mountaineers were the first to get on the scoreboard in the first half by Oscar Munoz at 22:36 and scored again at 52:07 by Javier Moran to take a 2-0 lead.
The Geoducks got on the scoreboard at 78:38 by Joe DiCarlo and assisted by Mitchell Balmer and tied the match up at 84:22 with a penalty kick by Tino Pantaleon.
The Mountaineers took the win at 87:32 by Erik Mattice.
Hunter Bowman was back in the net for Evergreen for 80:56 and recorded four saves. Jayson Ray came in for the final 9:04 of the match.
Evergreen recorded eight shots for the match with five on goal. EOU had 11 shots for the match with seven on goal.
The Geoducks are back in action to close out the regular season at home on Friday and Saturday. Evergreen will play at Black Hills High School and face Southern Oregon at 3 p.m. on Friday and Oregon Tech at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
