The Evergreen State College men's basketball team is in action at home on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Pacific Lutheran.
About Evergreen: The Geoducks are currently 2-1 on the season defeating New Hope Christian and Northwest Indiana College to open the season at the Rose City Classic. Evergreen fell in the home opener on Nov. 19 to Linfield College. The Geoducks are led by
Gloire Biongo, who averages 19.5 points per game and
Elijah Fuller, who averages 15.3 points a game.
LaBrandon Price leads the defense with an average of 6.7 rebounds a game.
About Pacific Lutheran: PLU is currently 2-2 overall on the season defeating Johnson & Wales and falling to University of California, Santa Cruz. The Lutes then lost to Chapman and defeated Warner Pacific. Pacific Lutheran is led by Leighton Kingma, who recorded 16 points per game. Jordan Thomas averages 12 points a game and seven rebounds per game.
Recent Results: Evergreen and PLU are currently 2-2. The Lutes have won the last two game in Tacoma in 2018-19 and 2016-17. The last win came at home in 2015-16 with a score of 93-83.
Coming Up: Evergreen will face Saint Martin's in an exhibition game on Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m. before opening Cascade Collegiate Conference play at home on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. against Oregon Tech.
