TACOMA, Wash. – The Evergreen State College women's soccer team fell to Division III Pacific Lutheran 2-0 Saturday afternoon.
Evergreen recorded five shots for the game with three on goal. PLU recorded 12 shots with five on goal. The Lutes recorded two goals for the game. The first coming at the 22nd minute by Kimber Thomas and the second coming at 54th minute by Vivian Shinall.
Alexis Backus was in the net for Evergreen and recorded three saves.
The Geoducks are back in action on Thursday, Aug. 29th for an exhibition game against Tacoma CC at 10 a.m. on the Geoduck Pitch. Evergreen will then face Minnesota-Morris in a couple of games on Sept. 6th and 7th. Both games will be played at 1 p.m. on the Geoduck Pitch.
