GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Evergreen State College women's soccer team fell 3-0 Saturday afternoon to University of Providence.

The Argos recorded two goals in the first half, by Eme McLaughlin is the 20th minute and Isa Ortman in the 33rd minute. McLaughlin scored the last goal of the game in the 64th minute.

Evergreen recorded six shots for the game with three on goal. Madison Early recorded two shots on goal and Sunny Bieber had a shot.

Alexis Backus was back in the net for the Geoducks and recorded 11 saves.

Providence recorded 23 shots for the game with 14 on goal. Dakota Neumann was back in the net and had three saves and picked up the win.

Evergreen is back in action at home on Sunday, Sept. 29 against Rocky Mountain College at 1 p.m.
