GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Joe DiCarlo scored two goals and The Evergreen State College men's soccer team fell 3-2 in overtime to University of Providence.
DiCarlo scored his first goal of the game in the first minute. The Argo was able to come back and tie the game up in the 32nd minute.
DiCarlo had his second goal of the game in the 51st minute but Fernando Gutierrez tied the game in the 87th minute and then had the game winner in the 92nd minute.
Evergreen recorded 10 shots for the game with seven on goal. Three of those shots came from DiCarlo. The Argo had 13 shots for the game with seven on goal.
Hunter Bowman was back in the net for the Geoducks and recorded four saves.
Evergreen is back in action at home on Friday, Sept. 27 against Walla Walla at 1 p.m. and see Rocky Mountain College at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29.
