The Evergreen State College women's basketball team fell 81-65 Saturday night to Eastern Oregon.
Evergreen was led by Trinity Betoney, who had 19 points, Anna Cook added 13 points and Jerri Maluyo had 11 points. Maluyo and Merrily Jones led on the rebounds with six.
Eastern Oregon was led by Jane Nelson, who had 14 points, Emma Logan added 13 points and Megan Still had 10 points. Logan led on the rebounds with 12 for a double-double.
The Geoducks shot 32.4 percent to EOU's 50 percent. The Mountaineers out rebounded Evergreen 54-29. EOU had the lead the entire game and had its largest lead of 30 in the fourth quarter. Evergreen recorded seven steals to go with the 16 turnovers by Eastern Oregon.
The Geoducks will close out the 2019-20 regular season on Tuesday at Northwest at 5:30 p.m.
