Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Yotes Defeats Geoducks

OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Evergreen State College women's soccer team fell 5-0 to College of Idaho Friday afternoon at Black Hills High School.

The Yotes scored all five goals in the second half. The first in the 46th minute. The second goal was in the 56th minute and then COI scored again in the 72nd minute, 79th minute and final goal in the 85th minute.

Evergreen recorded 11 shots for the match with four shots coming from Madison Spenker. Cayla Muenchow and Brieanna Dell both had two shots and Sunny Bieber, Sam Lindsay and Mikayla Kee all recorded one shot.

Lucky Backus was back in the net and recorded nine saves.

The Geoducks are back in action at home on the Geoduck Pitch to see Eastern Oregon at 3 p.m. Evergreen will celebrate its seniors before the match.
