OLYMPIA, Wash. - Eastern Oregon stretched an early two-point lead to double digits for the rest of the contest in the first quarter en route to a 82-57 win over host The Evergreen State College on Saturday night.

The Mountaineers (12-7, 9-2 CCC) nearly led from start to finish in the contest. EOU went ahead for the rest of the contest as Taylor Stricklin hit a 3-pointer with 8:17 for the visitors. Stricklin was one of four in double figures for EOU as she poured in 15 including five 3-pointers. Maddy Juul was 9-for-12 from the field as she scored 19 points, Adyson Harris added 12 points, plus Kaiea Waiwaiole added 10 off the bench.

The Geoducks (5-9, 3-7 CCC) was led by a 24-point effort by
Trinity Betoney, plus
Sha'nece Garret added 17 in the loss. Garret also had five assists and five steals.

EOU managed to shoot at a 49.2% (32-for-65) clip in the win, including seven 3 pointers. TESC was held to 30% (21-for-70) shooting and just two 3-pointers.

Next, The Evergreen State will host Lewis Clark State on Friday, Jan. 21 at 5:30 p.m., followed by Walla Walla at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22.Â
