OLYMPIA, Wash. - A Peyton Rhyne goal in the fifth minute and a goal by Brie Dell led host Evergreen State women's soccer to a 2-0 win over Bushnell. Goalkeeper Amity Brookshire made nine saves en route to the shutout.

Evergreen State raises its record to 1-7-2 overall and 1-5-1 in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. In the loss, Bushnell drops to 0-13 overall and 0-8 in the CCC. The Beacons got off 15 shots in the loss, including five from Emily Puita.
 
Next, the Geoducks will travel to Portland to face Warner Pacific on Friday, Oct. 14 and Multnomah on Saturday, Oct. 15.
