OLYMPIA, Wash. - Three members of The Evergreen State women's basketball team scored in double figures to lead the Geoducks to an exciting 79-77 win over Northwest University on Tuesday night at the Costantino Recreation Center.

The Geoducks (7-12, 5-10 CCC) scored a season-high 79 points in the win as Sha'nece Garret scored a season-high 28 points to lead Evergreen State. She was joined in double figures by Trinity Betoney and Jalyn Sackrider, who added 16 and 10 points, respectively.

The Eagles (13-10, 7-9 CCC) were paced by a game-high 32 points from Sam VanLoo, who was joined in double figures by Grace Meza and Livi Lindsey, who poured in 11 and 10 points, respectively.
 
Down two, 75-73, after a timeout by Geoducks' head coach Jackie Robinson, the team successfully executed a play drawn up for Betoney, who hit her third 3-pointer of the game to put the home team back in front with less than a minute to go en route to the victory.

Next, the Geoducks will continue its homestand with a matchup against Warner Pacific on Friday, Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m. and Multnomah on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m.
