Four Geoducks scored in double figures but it was not enough as Multnomah posted an 87-78 win over host Evergreen State on Saturday night.
The Geoducks (3-19, 3-15 CCC) shot 42% from the field as

(pictured), who poured in 20 points on the strength of four 3-pointers.
LaBrandon Price added 13 with three 3-pointers and
Lane Kennedy chipped in 10 on three 3-pointers.

The Lions (12-14, 8-10 CCC) shot 47.9 percent from the field with Terin Johnson leading Multnomah with a game-high 25 points to go along with 15 rebounds. Tyrese Taylor added 22 points and 14 rebounds, plus Zach Richardson added 16 points as he made four 3-pointers in the win.

The first 12 minutes of the game neither team would sustain a lead until the visitors scored 26 of the final 33 points of the first half en route to a 48-30 at the break. Once the lead reached double digits, the Geoducks were unable to get the deficit to single digits. Despite the double-figure deficit, Evergreen shot 51.3% in the second half and outscored Multnomah by a 48-39 margin for the final 20 minutes.
