Walla Walla, Wash. – A goal by Ella Johnson of host Whitman was just enough to lift the host Blues to a 1-0 win over Evergreen State on Monday night.
 
The Geoducks (0-2-1) were able to record four shots on goal in the loss, two from Brie Dell in the loss to pace the visitors from Olympia.

The Blues (2-0) also recorded four shots on goal, including two from Molly Beaulieu in the win. Whitman used three-different goalkeepers in the contest, including Hannah Hagler who made three saves in the win.

Next, Evergreen State will travel to face Seattle University on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.
