The first half set the stage for Evergreen's success, with the Geoducks amassing an impressive 47 points while limiting the Lions to 32 points. A remarkable 42.9% of Evergreen's field goals in the first half were shot from beyond the three-point line, showcasing the team's sharpshooting talent and contributing significantly to their lead.
Elijah McLaughlin emerged as a force on the court, delivering an exceptional performance with 28 points during his 35 minutes of play. McLaughlin's accuracy, making 11 out of 17 field goal attempts and 4 out of 9 attempted three-pointers, played a crucial role in Evergreen's dominance in the first-half.
