OLYMPIA, Wash. - Despite record-breaking freezing temperatures, The Evergreen State College Men's Basketball team delivered an awe-inspiring performance tonight, securing an shocking victory over the Warner Pacific Knights with a final score of 89 - 69. This triumph marks the second consecutive win under the dynamic leadership of new Head Coach Cam Swanson, sparking joy and celebration within the campus community.

The first half of the game saw a close battle, with Warner Pacific scoring 28 points while the Geoducks maintained a slim lead with 30 points. However, the second half took everyone in attendance by surprise as Evergreen surged ahead with an astonishing 59 points compared to the Knights' 41 points. The Geoducks' exceptional second-half performance led to a resounding 20-point lead, securing their victory and further solidifying the team's positive trajectory under Coach Swanson.

Several standout performances highlighted the Geoducks' success on the court. Jayden Upshaw in particular delivered an absolutely sensational performance, making an astonishing 9 out of 10 attempted field goals and sinking 4 out of 5 attempted three-pointers. Upshaw's remarkable accuracy resulted in an impressive 24 points during his 29 minutes on the court.

Elijah McLaughlin showcased his prowess as well, making 7 out of his 13 attempted field goals and 2 out of 5 attempted three-point shots for a total of 16 points during his 27 minutes in play. McLaughlin's contributions added to the overall offensive firepower of the Geoducks.
