OLYMPIA, Wash. -- The Evergreen State College men's wrestling team won four matches with pins as the Geoducks downed visiting Linfield University 33-24 at the Costantino Recreation Center on Thursday, Feb. 12. Valona trailed 5-3 during the second period but earned a takedown and a three-point near fall later in the period for a 9-5 advantage. Lefebvre added an escape before the second period ended, and he added one point in the third period, but Valona held on for the win, giving Evergreen a 21-12 lead.

After Walker Campbell won by forfeit at 174 pounds, the Geoducks were in front 27-12 in the team score. Cole Torres (Fr.) contributed Evergreen's final points with a pin at 5:30 against Trey Dieringer in the 184-pound match.
