Franklin Johnson has been named the Interim Head Men’s Basketball Coach for the 2022-23 season.

Johnson has been the Geoducks head assistant men’s basketball coach since 2016 before being elevated to this new role. He has held a multitude of responsibilities including player development, game and practice planning, scheduling, recruiting, program budgeting, fundraising as well as travel.

He is also the founder and lead skills trainer at the Oly Basketball Academy, where he is also in AAU organization.
 
Johnson graduated from The Evergreen State College with a bachelor’s degree in social work and media arts to go along with a master’s degree in leadership from Walden University.
