The Evergreen State College Athletics

Tim Malroy began the task of rebuilding the men's basketball program at The Evergreen State College in May 2014 after being selected as head coach following a national search. He is the fifth men's basketball coach in school history.

Malroy came to Evergreen after a 10-year stint as men's basketball head coach at Green River Community College in Auburn, Wash. Prior to his time at Green River, Malroy served as women's basketball head coach at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia. 
 
An Olympia native, Malroy graduated from Olympia High School in 1985 before heading up to Bellingham, Wash., to play basketball at Western Washington University.

Malroy earned his bachelor of arts in psychology in 1989, later earned his master of science in sports psychology from Western Washington in 2000 and earned his Ph.D. in sport and performance psychology through Grand Canyon University in 2019. 
 
He is married to the former Heather Covington and they have two children, David and Kyla.
