Carissa Bounds enters her third season as the head women's volleyball coach at Evergreen in 2025. Before her first season as the head coach in 2023, she was the assistant coach at Evergreen for the previous two-and-a-half years. During her time as the assistant coach, Evergreen earned a postseason appearance in 2022 and received the CCC Sportsmanship Award for two consecutive years.Â
Before arriving at Evergreen, Bounds was the head volleyball coach at nearby Black Hills High School. She has coached at various clubs in both the Puget Sound Region and the North Texas Region.Â
Bounds graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2017 and received her Master's Degree in Adult Education from Eastern Washington University in the spring of 2022.
