HELENA, Mont. –
Sunny Bieber scored the lone goal for The Evergreen State College women's soccer team at 88:17 but that wasn't enough as the Geoducks fell to Carroll College 3-1 Sunday late afternoon.
The Saints got on the scoreboard early with two goals in the first half, the first at 13:12 by Kody Clements and again at 43:40 by Melissa Duggar. After half time, Carroll scored another goal by Hannah Mitchell at 68:07.
Bieber scored the last goal of the game. That was her only shot for the game and her second goal for the season.
Evergreen recorded four shots for the match with three on goal. Those three shots on goal were by Bieber,
Madison Spenker and
Brieanna Dell.
Carroll recorded 32 shots for the game with 13 shots on goal.
Lucky Backus was back in the net for Evergreen and recorded 10 saves. Sarah Conway picked up the win for Carroll and had two saves as she was back in the net for the Saints.
Evergreen is back in action on Friday at Bushnell at 3 p.m. and will face Corban at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
