PORTLAND, Ore. – Hitting a .357 for the match, The Evergreen State College volleyball team had a dominating 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-13) win over Multnomah Saturday night at Jim Skagen Court.

The Geoducks were led by Lily Stewart, who had 17 kills and five serving aces, Zoe Shaw added 11 kills and seven digs. Sierra Wolff recorded 32 assists for the match and Sage Burgmeier led in the back row with eight digs.

Multnomah was led by Hannah McPhetridge, who had seven kills, Rachel Bailey added 13 assists and Alyssa Mehalovich had nine digs.

Evergreen hit a .357 for the match and best .429 in the first sets and the Lions had 16 errors for the match and only hit a .050. The Geoducks also added nine serving aces and five blocks for the match.

The Geoducks are 11-1 overall since 2013 against the Lions and won earlier this season 3-1 for a sweep on the year.

"I am very proud of this team; they have built a family. They have learned what it means to compete as one, and today showed their hard work and effort. This was a great success," said head coach Alexis Garrison.

Evergreen will play three matches at home next first. First on Tuesday against Northwest at 7 p.m., face Southern Oregon on Friday at 7 p.m. and see Oregon Tech at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
