KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Evergreen State College volleyball team fell 3-2 (20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 25-14, 15-7) to Oregon Tech on Friday night.
The Geoducks were led by
Hannah Rongen and
Lily Stewart, who both had 10 kills.
Zoe Shaw and
Sierra Wolff both recorded 18 digs and
Sage Burgmeier had 16. Wolff added 40 assists for the match.
OIT was led by Nicole Reyes, who had 17 kills and Faith Houck-Wylie had 13 kills. Courtney Isom added 33 assists and Aubrey Klevit led on the back row with 19 digs.
Evergreen hit a .047 for the match to Oregon Tech's .190. The Geoducks recorded 36 errors in the match. Evergreen and Oregon Tech were 7-7 overall going into the match since 2013 and the Geoducks had won the last five matches, including both matches in 2019.
Evergreen is back in action tomorrow at 7 p.m. to see Southern Oregon on the road.
