LACEY, Wash. – The Evergreen State College women's soccer team fell to crosstown opponent Saint Martin's University 4-0 Monday afternoon.
Evergreen recorded four shots for the game with two on goal.
Madison Spenker and
Brieanna Dell had both shots on goal.
Lucky Backus was back in the net for Evergreen and recorded 13 saves to Saint Martin's 34 shots with 17 on goal.
SMU recorded two goals in the first half, the first came from
Kiersten Madsen on a penalty kick at 15:01. The final goal of the half came at 22:42 by
Daeh Lindquist. After the half, two more goals were scored the first at 67:45 by Salma Perez and the final goal from Mia Fleming at 70:29.
This concludes the non-conference season for Evergreen. The
Geoducks will open Cascade Collegiate Conference play on Friday at Southern Oregon and at Oregon Tech on Saturday. Both games will kick off at 3:30 p.m.
