OLYMPIA, Wash. –
Madison Spenker scored her first goal for the season but that wasn't enough as The Evergreen State College women's soccer team fell to Rocky Mountain 3-1 Friday afternoon at the Geoduck Pitch.
Spenker scored her goal at 24:37 with the assist from
Julia Hass. The Battlin' Bears had an answer at 28:47 by Halle Labert and she scored again at 33:35. The final goal of the game was scored at 36:28 by Morgan Maack.
Lucky Backus was back in the net for Evergreen and recorded seven saves.
The Geoducks recorded four shots for the game by Spenker, who had two shots.
Brieanna Dell and
Sunny Bieber both added one shot. Rocky Mountain recorded 24 shots for the match.
Evergreen is back in action tomorrow at 3 p.m. to see Providence at home.
