OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Evergreen State College volleyball team and Bushnell had a five set thriller with the Beacon coming out on top 3-2 (25-14, 21-25, 15-25, 25-21, 16-14) Friday night in the CRC.
Evergreen was led by
Lily Stewart, who had 14 kills and
Zoe Shaw had a double-double with 11 kills and 24 digs.
Sierra Wolff had 49 assists for the match and
Sage Burgmeier added 12 digs.
Bushnell was led by Shay Coons, who had 22 kills and Payton Jones added 11. Makenna Ladd had 58 assists for the match and 11 digs for a double-double. Callie Wilkins led I the back row with 20 digs.
Evergreen hit a .199 for the match to Bushnell's .183. The Geoducks are 6-9 overall to the Beacon caccascasand split the 2019 season with Evergreen winning at home and falling on the road.
The Geoducks will face Corban on Saturday at 6 p.m. at home. The Warriors defeated Northwest 3-0 tonight to remain undefeated.
