SEATTLE, Wash. – The Evergreen State College women's soccer team fell to Northwest 3-0 Wednesday night in a non-conference game.
Lucky Backus was in the net for Evergreen and recorded eight saves. Kierstin Patefield was in the net for Northwest and recorded one save.
The Eagles recorded three goals for the game. The first at 19:34 by Maya Lewis and assist from Callie Wright. At 53:49, Claire Jo Diede scored the second goal of the game and the final goal at 63:47 was by Gracie VanAssche.
Evergreen recorded four shots for the game with one on goal by
Sunny Bieber. Northwest had 31 shots for the game with 15 on goal.
The Geoducks are back in action on Saturday at 4 p.m. to face Pacific Lutheran in Tacoma. The Geoducks will then see Saint Martin's on Monday at 3:30 p.m. in Lacey.
