Boxers Defeat Geoducks, 4-1

Forest Grove, Ore. - Four-different goal scorers in the first 45 minutes propelled host Pacific (Ore.) to a 4-1 win over Evergreen State on Friday afternoon at Hanson Stadium.
The host Boxers (1-0) went ahead with a goal 48 seconds into the match and added three more in the first 45 minutes en route to the win.
The Geoducks (0-1-1) managed to tie the contest when Brie Dell equalized in the sixth minute.
With the contest tied, Pacific scored three more times in the first 45 minutes on its way to the victory as Rhyah Jackson scored a pair of goals to lead the NCAA Division III foe to the victory.

Geoducks goalkeepers Anna Verela and Amity Brookshire made five saves with each seeing 45 minutes of action in the contest. 
Next for Evergreen State is a contest against another Northwest Conference and NCAA Division III foe, Whitman on Monday night at 7 p.m. in Walla Walla.
