OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Evergreen State College has placed five student-athletes on the list of NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 winter seasons. Overall, a total of 3,143 student-athletes from throughout the NAIA were named winter Scholar-Athletes.
NAIA Scholar-Athlete honorees in winter sports needed to earn a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher (on a 4.0 scale), appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their academic institution for at least one academic year. Evergreen does not give letter grades, but the academic accomplishments of the nominated student-athletes were converted to a 4.0 GPA scale. Also, the Geoducks were listed with their areas of academic emphasis rather than majors.
