WOMEN'S BASKETBALL NOTES: A midweek home game and a weekend road contest – both against Cascade Collegiate Conference opponents – are on tap for the Evergreen women's basketball team this week. The Geoducks host the Northwest University Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and play the Walla Walla University Wolves in Walla Walla at 2 p.m. Sunday.

FOLLOW THE GEODUCKS: Evergreen fans unable to attend Geoducks games, whether at home or on the road, can follow the action via live stats and/or a live video stream by clicking on the stats and video links under the Events tab on www.gogeoducks.com.

ABOUT THE GEODUCKS: Evergreen, 3-13 overall and 2-7 in the conference, is looking to put an end to a seven-game losing streak. All three of the Geoducks' wins have been at home. Gabi Fenumiai, the senior center from Juneau, Alaska, continues to lead the team with 12.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Additionally, she is the league's top field goal percentage shooter at .614. Another senior post, Autumn Moorcroft, averages 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, freshman point guard Zaria Jones chips in 8.1 points and 2.8 assists per game, and junior guard Corina Tacardon is among the CCC leaders with 2.0 steals per contest.

FENUMIAI ON FIRE: After a slow start, senior post Gabi Fenumiai has been on fire in recent contests. Fenumiai has scored in double figures in nine of the last 12 games, including a season-high 27 points against Warner Pacific on the opening week of conference play.

ABOUT NORTHWEST: The Eagles have lost six straight games and are now 8-11 overall, 3-6 in the conference. Four players average double-figure scoring, led by center Miranda Langenhorst with 11.3 points per game. Hannah Carlson chips in 10.8 points per game, followed by Charmaine Bradford with 10.6 and Mariah Stacona with 10.5 points per game. Langenhorst is the team leader with 9.9 rebounds per game.

RECENT RESULTS: In a game played Nov. 29 in Kirkland, the host Eagles defeated the Geoducks, 60-42. Northwest defeated the Geoducks twice by six points last year, winning 67-61 in Kirkland and 69-63 in Olympia. The previous season it was Evergreen that swept Northwest, winning 72-63 in Olympia and 62-51 in Kirkland.

ABOUT WALLA WALLA: The Wolves, who host Northwest University on Saturday night, are 2-12 overall and winless in eight conference games. Alyssa Blankenship averages 16.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game and Emily Downs contributes 10.1 points and 6.1 rebounds.

RECENT RESULTS: Evergreen beat Walla Walla by 98-41 and 88-43 scores last season. The Geoducks set records for points (98) and assists (32) in a game, and Gabi Fenumiai set an Evergreen single-game scoring record with 36 points in the 98-41 victory.

CORBAN 77, EVERGREEN 61: Corina Tacardon scored 15 points but a slow start doomed the Geoducks in the defeat last Friday night in Salem, Ore.

NORTHWEST CHRISTIAN 85, EVERGREEN 55: Gabi Fenumiai recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds but the Geoducks came up short against the Beacons last Saturday in Eugene, Ore.
