ABOUT THE GEODUCKS: Evergreen is 1-2 this season with all three games coming against NCAA Division III Northwest Conference opponents. Most recently, the Geoducks beat the Pacific Boxers, 65-53, in their official home opener on Tuesday. One week ago they lost to Whitworth and Whitman at the latter's Kim Evanger Raney Classic in Walla Walla. Junior forward Cayla Jones averages 23.7 points per game to lead all Cascade Conference players, and her 8.7 rebounds per game puts her fourth. Jones is also fourth in free throw percentage at .838 and fifth in field goal shooting with a .576 mark. Frosh point guard Jahpera McEachin is third on the CCC scoring list with 16.0 points per game and is third with a .438 three-point shooting percentage. Junior forward Deidra Miller averages 2.0 blocks per game, second best in the conference. The Geoducks average 68.3 points per game while giving up 69.3, and they average 40.7 rebounds compared to 41.0 for their opponents.

EVERGREEN 65, PACIFIC 53: Cayla Jones scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as Evergreen defeated the visiting Pacific University Boxers, 65-53, in a non-conference game played at Costantino Recreation Center. Jones was 7-for-9 from the field and 8-for-9 from the free throw line in leading the Geoducks to their first victory of the season. Deidra Miller came off the bench to add 10 points and eight rebounds in the victory.

ABOUT WARNER PACIFIC: The Knights have lost two in a row and are 2-3 on their home court. The team's leading scorers are both guards, Bailey Allen averaging 9.8 points and Darbi Pink contributing 9.5 per game. Emily Peters is the top rebounder with 4.4 per game and Mady Hanna tops the team with an average of 3.0 assists per game. Allen is among the conference leaders with 2.3 steals per game, and Shasta Lofgren is ranked in the CCC top 10 with .414 accuracy from three-point range. The team averages 66.9 points and allows 73.9 per game.

RECENT RESULTS: Warner Pacific has won 12 of the 20 meetings between the two teams dating back to the 2007-08 season, though the Geoducks have won four of the past six, including 74-64 and 56-51 victories last season.

ABOUT MULTNOMAH: The Lions are winless in eight games this season, giving up 75.4 points while scoring just 46.1 per game and averaging almost 10 rebounds per game less than their opponents. Team leaders are Bethany George with 10.4 points per game, Faith Kraatz with an average of 6.0 rebounds, and Valerie Wakefield with 3.1 assists per game, which is tied for sixth best among conference players.

RECENT RESULTS: The teams have played four times in the two years that Multnomah has been a Cascade Conference member and Evergreen has won three of those four. Multnomah's 83-75 triumph over the Geoducks in the regular season finale in Portland ended up sending the Lions to the playoffs and ended Evergreen's season.
