Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer & Volleyball All Home

If you need something to do on Friday and Saturday, well The Evergreen State College athletic department has you covered.

Men's soccer will start things off at 1 p.m. both days, seeing Northwest Christian on Friday and Corban on Saturday. Women's soccer will face the same team but at 3 p.m. on both days. Volleyball will close out the night at 7 p.m. seeing Southern Oregon on Friday and Oregon Tech on Saturday.


Men's Soccer
About Evergreen: Evergreen is currently 3-5 overall and 1-3 in conference play. This past weekend, the Geoducks defeated Walla Walla 3-1 and fell to Rocky Mountain 0-1.  Evergreen has scored five goals in conference play and is led by Joe DiCarlo, who has scored three goals in conference play.


About Northwest Christian: The Beacons are 2-3-0 overall and 2-2-0 in conference play. NCU defeated Multnomah 3-2 last weekend and fell 0-5 to Warner Pacific. NCU has scored five goals in conference play and is led by Nicolas Schapochnik, who has scored two goals in conference play. 


Recent Results: Evergreen is 5-2-2 overall with Northwest Christian. The last two ties the teams faced each other; they tied 0-0 last season in Oregon and 2-2 in 2017 in Olympia. Before the two ties, Evergreen has won the last four matchups.


About Corban: The Warriors are 6-0-1 overall and 4-0-0 in conference play. Corban defeated Warner Pacific 4-1 and Multnomah 8-0. Corban leads the conference with 20 goals scored and average 5.0 goals a game. Corban is led by Kohl Hurtado, Nate Sherwood, Hakeem Smith and Yuki Onishi as all have scored two goals in conference play.


Recent Results: Evergreen is 1-5-2 overall against Corban. The Warriors have won the last four matchups, including last season in Oregon and in 2017 in Olympia. The last win for Evergreen was in 2014 on the road.


Women's Soccer
About Evergreen: Evergreen is 2-5 overall and 0-3 in conference play, falling this past week 0-3 to Rocky Mountain College. The Geoducks are led by Maddie Lockwood, who has scored three goals on the season.


About Northwest Christian: The Beacon are 2-7-0 overall and 1-3-0 in conference play. NCU defeated Multnomah 1-0 after double overtime and fell to Warner Pacific 0-1. Northwest Christian has scored one goals this conference season. Sierra Graton leads NCU with three goals on the season


Recent Results: Evergreen is 2-4 with the Warriors and has lost the last four matches. NCU won last season 0-2 in Oregon and won 0-2 in 2017 in Olympia. The last win came at home in 2014.


About Corban: The Warriors are 6-2-1 overall and 3-0-1 in conference play, including defeating last weekend Warner Pacific 3-0 and Multnomah 4-0. Corban has scored 11 goals in conference play and average 2.75 a game. The Warriors are led by Callie Wright, who has scored four goals in conference.


Recent Results: Corban leads the series 6-0. It won last year 0-2 and 2-4 in 2017 in Olympia.


Volleyball
About Evergreen: Evergreen is third in the conference in hitting percentage with a .234. The Geoducks are led by Chloee Hunt, who ranks first in the conference with a .364 hitting percentage. Lily Stewart is third with a .339. 


About Southern Oregon: The Raiders are 15-3 overall and 6-2 in conference play. SOU defeated College of Idaho 3-2 last weekend and fell to Eastern Oregon 2-3. Southern Oregon is currently ranked 10th in the NAIA Coaches Poll. SOU is currently second in the conference in hitting percentage with a .245. The Raiders are led by Taylor Ristvedt, who has a .355 hitting percentage.


Recent Results: Southern Oregon is 12-0 overall against Evergreen. SOU won both matches last season 0-3 and have won the last three matches in straight sets.


About Oregon Tech: The Owls are 11-7 overall and 4-4 in conference play. Oregon Tech has lost the last three matches, including falling 1-3 to Eastern Oregon and 0-3 to The College of Idaho. The Owls are sixth in the conference in hitting percentage with a .185. Oregon Tech is led by Ashley Ripplinger, who has a .286 hitting percentage.


Recent Results: Evergreen is 5-7 with Oregon Tech and have won the last three matches, including winning 3-2 last season on the road and 3-1 at home. Before the three match winning streak, Evergreen
