The Evergreen State College women's basketball team will play three games in five days all at home at 5:30 p.m. The Geoducks will face Northwest University on Tuesday, see Eastern Oregon on Friday and The College of Idaho on Saturday.
About Evergreen: The Geoducks are 2-7 overall and 2-4 in conference play. Evergreen won its first two games of the season this past weekend against Walla Walla that ended a seven-game losing streak. The Geoducks are led by
Trinity Betoney, who averages 20.4 points per game and 8.7 rebounds a game.
Jerri Maluyo, averages 11.3 points a game and
Merrily Jones averages 10 points per game.
About Northwest: The Eagles are 3-11 overall and 1-3 in conference play. Northwest played in a tournament this past weekend and defeated Dickinson State and lost to Vancouver Island Univ. The Eagles are led by Sam Van Loo, who averages 11.9 points a game, and Maya DuChesne, averages 10 points a game.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 2-9 overall against the Eagles. Northwest has won the last three games. The last win came at home on Jan. 9, 2018 when Evergreen won 74-71.
About Eastern Oregon: EOU is 9-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play. The Mountaineers are on a three-game losing streak falling to Northwest Christian and Corban this past weekend and Oregon Tech to end the 2019 year. EOU is led by Beverly Slater, who averages 13.1 points a game, Rachel Fielder, averages 10.4 points a game.
Recent Results: Evergreen is 0-13 against Eastern Oregon.
About The College of Idaho: The Yotes are 5-10 overall and 3-3 in conference play. The College of Idaho split their games this past weekend falling to Corban and defeating Northwest Christian. The Yotes are led by Mackenzie Royce-Radford, who averages 13.2 points a game.
